When does the world hit the hay?
When does darkness engulf the day?
What time does a bird start to rest?
When are the bats senses put to the test?
When the night starts and the day animals are finishing their tasks

Hello F.Y.I readers, there’s a poetry competition where you could win up to $500.00
The deadline is April 30th 2011, the school with the most entries will win a new computer package and a “spirit of education trophy” so come on Holmes encourage your classmates. Teachers encourage your students, and people reading this from other schools do the same thing!

One poem declared “Editors Choice” will win a 500.00 Us Savings Bond and if the entry has been sent through online entry rather than mail prize amount will double. Guess what even if you don’t win there’s still a chance you might win something, because random poems will be randomly picked for an IPod touch, a laptop computer, or one of 10 visa gift cards!
